Dear Over Advertised, Corporate "Coffee Shop" (better known as Coffee Chain),
I recently visited your Manoa branch where I ordered an Iced Green Tea of the day without ice. When they ran out of premade tea, Tanya and another employee began to make me a tea with ice anyway. When he explained that they had to make it there so it'd have a little ice in it, I told them I'd rather have it hot than with ice (as I didn't want it diluted). Tanya, who was making the drinks at the time, looked at the other male worker and sighed, then said, "Well, Oookay..." As if calling my preference into question, a few feet from me! While waiting for the tea to be remade, Tanya left a container in the sink and turned the water on and left it running for it to overflow for a few minutes. I asked her to turn the water off as we are in a drought. She replied, "Well, you know, I have to rinse it out, and I'm not going to stand there and wait for it." I would have rather waited for my drink than waste water. It's a shame to see [crappy chain's] employees being so careless with our natural resources and not caring. I've seen this exact behavior time and time again at the [crappy chain] and I've considered calling the Board of Water. Tanya's overall attitude was childish and unprofessional. It makes me question if she even wants to be at work and why [crappy chain] hires those with negative dispositions. Hopefully she was just having a bad day and this isn't her normal behavior, in which case she should probably realize that she's at work and curb her instinct to be so sour when working with customers. I won't return to this [crappy chain's location], instead I'll go to the [also mass marketed chain coffee place] across the street where they're always friendly (and, yes, they turn the water off before they leave the sink).
