Over it!

I pierced my nose on tuesday.

I'm not sure what the attraction was in the first place, especially since my nose is rather large to begin with, I didn't want to draw anymore attention to it, but for some reason the idea of a nose piercing seemed line a good idea.

I say "seemed" because today I took it out.

I called my piercer this afternoon because the post isn't long enough for my big nose and so the stud was receding into the hole.  He said I could come in to get it fixed.  I realized after I just wanted it taken out!

So I did.  That's 55 dollars I'll never see again.

I told B after that 1) I got my nose pierced.  I didn't tell him sooner since I'd previously asked him and he was against it and  2) that I took it out.  He was happy.  I then made the claim that I was done with piercing.  I'm out of things to pierce and I think I'm too old.  The care and maintenance of a fresh piercing is just too much work.  He said I was right, I'm too old.  Not numerically old, I'm just over it.
